Start with the market and date
Before reading a number, identify the market and the saved date. Two markets can have similar names, and a card may still show an older entry. The listed opening and closing times are schedule information; they are not proof that an updated record has been entered.
Understand the three-part format
A complete entry may use a format such as 123–45–678. In this illustrative example, 123 is the opening panel, 45 is the middle Jodi and 678 is the closing panel. This example explains the layout only and is not a market result or recommendation.
Recognise incomplete values
A record such as 123–4*–*** contains unavailable portions. Preserve the asterisks when comparing or reporting the entry. Do not substitute your own digits or interpret missing values as confirmed results.
Compare the right records
Open the chart from the market’s own card. Check the row’s date range and weekday before comparing entries. Empty cells indicate that no usable record is displayed for that date; they should not be read as zero.
Read history as history
Patterns in old records do not provide a guaranteed next result. Use the charts to identify recorded information and report discrepancies, rather than as a promise of an outcome.
